I’m so stoked for this! I’ll premiere Sugar, a new work composed for me by Pamela Z as well as my new work ooh wo ah oo wa o for vocalizing ensemble with my group, The Nouveau Classical Project. Huge thanks to Chamber Music America for commissioning this piece! NCP and I will wear costumes specially created for “ooh wo ah oo wa o” by Jasmine Chong.

The concert also features my friends and collaborators, composer/pianist Melinda Faylor and composer/saxophonist Darius Jones, who will premiere their own original works! Jones will be joined by Amirtha Kidambi.
