Workshop: Starting Something

Have you decided to take the leap and launch your own music venture? Whether it's a music ensemble, production company, or a new project, this workshop will help you get off to a good start and guide you through the nuances of what you'll need to grow your baby. Topics that will be covered include but are not limited to:

- How to make things work with a shoestring budget
- Publicity & Marketing
- General Fundraising
- Building Your Board
- Targeting Your Audience
- Make the most of your fiscal sponsorship and getting 501(c)(3) status
- Management on various levels (i.e., managing your artists, your staff/volunteers, etc.)

Attendees will be able to ask any specific questions they need answered at the workshop. The workshop will only have six (6) spots available in order to ensure each attendee receives full attention.
